Super Cat Match for iPhone and iPad

Common questions
I bought the full version but it's locked again
Open Settings (the gear in the top-right of the home screen) and tap Restore Purchases. Make sure you're signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it with — purchases are tied to the account, not the device.
If it still doesn't unlock, email us and mention the Apple Account email you purchased with. You will never be asked to pay twice.
How do I move my progress to a new iPhone or iPad?
Your progress is saved on your device and is included in your normal iPhone backup. Restoring a new device from an iCloud or computer backup, or using direct device-to-device transfer when setting it up, brings your levels and stars across with it.
There's no separate cloud account, so progress doesn't sync live between two devices at the same time — each device keeps its own. Your purchase does follow your Apple Account: install the game on the new device and tap Restore Purchases.
I'm completely stuck on a level
A few things that help:
- Wait a moment without moving — the game will highlight a suggested swap for you.
- Use a power-up. Catnip, Swipe, Claw, Adopt, Shuffle, Laser and the Cat's Paw are all earned by playing, and Shuffle is the one to reach for when the board has nothing left in it.
- Work toward the objective at the top of the screen rather than the biggest match you can see. Clearing the right tiles beats clearing the most tiles.
- Try Zen mode for a while — it can't be failed, and it's a good place to get a feel for a mechanic that's giving you trouble.
If a level seems genuinely impossible, tell us the level number. That's useful information and we do fix them.
What's free, and what costs money?
The first 200 levels are free, along with every game mode and every power-up. That's a complete game in itself — roughly the first six and a half chapters.
Levels 201 to 600 unlock with a single $0.99 purchase, once. There's no subscription, no coins to buy, no energy timers, and nothing else to pay for afterwards.
Are there really no ads?
None. Not banner ads, not video ads, not "watch an ad for an extra life". The game contains no advertising code at all, and it never will. See our privacy policy — the app makes no network requests whatsoever.
Does it work without an internet connection?
Yes, completely. Once installed, the game never needs a connection — it's built for flights, trains, basements and anywhere else the signal gives out. The only moment a connection helps is when making or restoring a purchase, since that goes through the App Store.
How do I turn off the music or the vibration?
Tap the gear in the top-right of the home screen. Sound Effects, Music and Vibration each have their own switch, so you can keep the parts you like and silence the rest. You can also turn Show Tutorial Tips off once you've got the hang of things.
Which devices does it run on?
iPhone and iPad running iOS 18 or later. The iPad version uses the larger screen properly rather than just scaling up the phone layout.
Is it suitable for kids?
Yes — it's rated 4+. There's no chat, no social features, no user-generated content, no external links in the game, and no advertising. The only purchase is the one-time full-version unlock, which you can block entirely using Screen Time → Content & Privacy Restrictions → iTunes & App Store Purchases on the device.
The app icon changed colour on its own
That's intentional. The icon comes in light, dark and tinted versions, and iOS picks the one that matches your home screen appearance setting automatically.
I want to start over from level 1
In Settings, scroll down to Reset All Progress. This clears your levels, stars and streaks and cannot be undone, so it will ask you to confirm. Your purchase of the full version is not affected — that stays with your Apple Account.
Reporting a bug
Bug reports are genuinely welcome. The most useful ones mention:
- The level number and game mode you were in
- What you expected to happen, and what happened instead
- Your device and iOS version (Settings → General → About)
- A screenshot or screen recording, if you managed to catch one
Send it to support@supercatmatch.com.
Feature requests
If there's a mechanic, mode, or breed of cat you'd like to see, say so. Plenty of what's in the game arrived that way.
